What am i doing still awake?

It is already past midnite and yet I haves difficulty getting to sleep. Time seemed to have played a cruel joke on me. If indeed, I have myself to blame. I just love to like time slip by. I am a time-waster. I do not shoe time any respect and for that matter, I am an arrogant sloth. Time and tide waits for no man.

Take heed!

I know you are looking

Hehe I know you are looking. Of course not at me...but at my iPad! Oh my god! I finally regain some of the past high of knowing that I am technologically more superior than the bugger beside me.

This is the perhaps the raisin d'etre of me using Mac for all these years. Mac has always being superior to anything that i have known...pc/windows.

I remember apple as being hard to use. I must admit it. It was a painful journey with my Mac back then. It was not until recently that I realized the whole world was engulfing themselves with everything Mac. MacBooks, iMacs.....and of course, the iPhone. Everyone is using them. The cult of sac is being invaded.

Suddenly it no longer seem cool to sit in starbucks with a MacBook or a MacBook pro. The fellow sitting beside you has one.

Then I gotten myself a MacBook air! Take that you false prophets.... Noooo MacBook air started sprouting until it seemed that I am one of them. Noooo I have being a loyal servant of the cult since the beginnings. Of course i am but a junior loyalist as compared to those who followed the cult since it's inception.

For a long time, I have not felt like what I am feeling now. The ipads I am holding is worthed every single cent. But i do know this feeling is going to just go away once apple start selling ipads in singapore. But until then......eat my shorts suckers..........

Typing with the wireless keyboard

I am so making this iPad into a lappy. I am using the wireless keyboard for typing. And now the only next time I want to get is the 3G-enabled iPad. Meant for this to be a super short post, but not twitter-like.

Just want to try out the wireless keyboard. And I would think that there would be some lag. But nnooooo... it is as if the wireless keyboard is part of this iPad. Although they are connected via bluetooth, but it feels like they are one.

How cool issit?

I am so on a blogging spree. The large keyboard and screen estate meant that i can type with more convenience. As compared to iPhone, the smaller keyboard and screen will mean I can't really types fast and as efficiently.

Right now I am on my way to visit yu fang who unfortunately been hospitalized. Poor girl. And the irony is that today is her birthday. But I'm sure she will appreciate that almost everyone will be visiting her.

It kind of makes me wonder.... Who will visit me if I should be in the hospital. I think given Kenneth is just being Kenneth.... He will inform no one. He will try his best to hush things up. Maybe he will say he is on leave or something.

Rainy day with my iPad

While the heavens are pouring out their grief, I am lazing around with my new toy. I totally heart it and I could not understand how this day can change so fast. Originally I just wanted to see it in flesh. I din intend to buy it. Seriously. But after that I may not lay my hands on this beauty for another 2 months, I decided to just get it.

I am an extremely impatient guy. The price of this beauty must never be let known although its within my expectation and budget.

I so wanna scream out that I am the PROUD owner of an iPad!!!!!!!!

IPad

My heart is still pounding from the purchase of this iPad which I am typing on.....this can be a Twitter post but I am trying out this app as well... Will it solve the problem of me finding an outlet...a damn convenient one I must say...to blog????

Things look really good and I am really liking it. One thing is the ergonomics of this. I need to bend over in a rather awkward position to type. And it is definitely heavier than the iPhone.

But I am soooo loving it in spsite of the price I've paid. Nonetheless I think its super worth it!

i heart rainy day esp morning

There is really nothing more tranquil then a rainy morning. There is something about the sound of rain, which trumps all city noises. The bed is cold and instantly becomes a magnet for anyone. A strong one. Of course, having said all that, there is nothing much more grouchy than having to go to work on a rainy morning.

The responsibility of going to work literally tears me from my bed. First grouchy moment.

The wet wet wet journey to work. Second...third...fourth...n grouchy moments....

waiting for the only POSB ard here

There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for these 2 fellow to fiddle with the only posb atm ard here. The line behind started swelling and I am looking pineingly at ocbc atm. It is times like these that I want to get different bank cards.

Getting to know you

We are but strangers in many way. And there is an imposing wall in between us. Maybe because of the myriad of masks we wear to handle different situations and different people. Maybe because simply we don't understand.

During lunch yesterday, I came across an auntie who sold fruits. She is zany in a way. She kept nagging why did the customer do this, do that. Shouldn't select the fruits from the back, should take from the front. Then as she was nagging, suddenly she will become very normal and professional and asked us if we wanted salt or seasoning on our fruits. Then she will go back to her naggy mode.

I gave my "rolled-eyed-what-ever" look.

And I felt bad immediately, once we reached back to the client's place. The accountant told us that her husband died of cancer about a year ago. Suddenly, I was full of respect for her and in a way, compassionate. I believe she needs someone to talk to. I can imagine a year ago, she still had someone who was willing to listen to her nag.

And now, the fruit store is her only console that her husband is still with her.

But then, I will never know if they shared such a relationship or one that is bitter.

Exhausted

After 2 weeks of non-stop work and working late into the night and waking up early, I think I am exhausted. Coupled with crappy stuff like the OT issue and crappy friend who kept thinking that I am different, I had enough. My mind went blank.

The OT issue was an alright issue because I din really care about how the others think about it, I just stuck with my position. But the crappy friend issue was really uncalled for. When I am like running at max capacity and hope that my mind can do only one thing at a time, this came training my way. As such, my bloated mind just pushed this off the cliff and relished in hearing the slow falling of this issue into the deep abyss.

My neck and shoulders are really feeling the brunt of this mindless work. They have been complaining since like a week ago. I think I need to go for massage. More than so, I need a short break. Not the weekend-kind of break, but a 4-5 days of nothing-to-do-ness.

And I have unappreciative bosses. Really disappointed but as usual, within my expectation.

But I need to snap out of it and change all these into positive energy. They can take me out of my life but they can't take the life out of me.

AND I AM SO LOVING MY NEW BOSE HEADPHONES!!!!!!!

Modern Family

Loving Modern Family! The show is as american as it can be. I love the interaction between the three families. The setting is as the title suggests, modern. They even involved iPad! Considering its only out yesterday. I am so intoxicated with the american culture. I am starting to believe that I have american blood in me.

From Desperate Housewives to The Office, the american culture is still very much alive. From the New York city sex and the city, to the suburbania desperate housewives and to small city office, everything seemed to screaming out to me.

Like the aunties with the obsession with k-dramas, I have mine with the american shows. Of course, not every shows reached out to me like 24, prision break, and a host of other gossipy girls stuff. I am more for the family, office, and maybe Heroies stuff.

iApril

The month of april brings forth the summer bells. April always make me feel the passion and the heat. And it is also the month of the iPad!!! I believe a lot of my fellow apple brethren are killing them with the iPad radiation right now. And for us, 12 hrs away, no news.

The saying "No news is good news" DOESNT apply here. No news means no news. It's going to be a painful wait. Just like the soldiers' wives standing silently by their door-steps, waiting for a hope. For much of the european countries and canada, at least they know when are they receiving their hope. Why can't our neighbour to the north give us the same hope?

I so wanna be in the apple line now. Waiting to get the iPad.

Its so not fair. Not fair at all!
